I absolutely love being an entertainer in Greenville, SC. Greenville is a very eclectic community. Recently the community and surrounding neighborhoods (Anderson, Spartanburg, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Greer just to name a few) got a welcome break from all the political debates and mudslinging with a giraffe. It seems one of the giraffes on display at the Greenville Zoo gave birth to a bouncing 150 pound baby boy on October 22. The zoo even set up a live webcam to moniter the giraffe. According to some, the giraffe cam garnered higher ratings than the last presedential debate.
It is fascinating how much this giraffe story has “legs” (pun intended). There has been a noticeable increase in requests for giraffes as twisted balloons and as face paint. Of course we at Joy Set Entertainment are happy to oblidge with special requests. So here are a few pictures of our giraffe creations.
