Joy Set is proud to present two seminars with Dave (Mr. Rainbow) Bartlett September 13th - 14th in Simpsonville, SC.

Dave  Bartlett was a senior columnist for the groundbreaking LaughMakers Magazine and for Funny Paper Magazine, as well a regular contribut0r to The New Calliope magazine.

He has been an Artist-in-Residence for Clowns of America International, and for the Durham NC Public Schools. He is a past Educational Director of the World Clown Association.  He has been an instructor at Twist and Shout, Millennium Jam, Balloon and Magic Mania, Southeastern Clown Association, and more.

HOW TO BE FUNNY- Since the primary expectation that any lay person has of a clown is that the clown will somehow make them laugh, it would be helpful to know some basic comic structure. Dave will go over the "primary colors" of comedy. Take these structures to beef up the comedy in your routines. Class is only $15.00 in advance.  Price increases September 1st.  Class size is limited!

TECHNIQUES, TIPS AND TRICKS OF THE TRADE-  This class covers the essential little items that will help make your ballooning more efficient and more fun. In the zeal to learn how to make a doggie, most people forget to learn proper technique and that causes many problems down the line as you try to progress. If you have a balloon twisting problem bring it  in to class.  Prizes, Q&A session, and a balloon jam afterwards that lasts until.

If you are a beginner twister, please come to the free   BASICS FOR BEGINNERS course at 1:15 PM.  We will cover the basic twists, and basic sculptures.  Dave's Class is only $15.00 in advance.  Price increases September 1st.  Class size is limited.

If you would like to attend both seminars, the cost is only $25.00 in advance.   Price will increase on September 1
